Grand Vin Blanc 2024

Organic | Biodynamic | IGP Méditerranée

Grand Vin represents the pinnacle of Château La Coste’s craftsmanship. Sourced from our finest plots and vinified with meticulous attention, these cuvées offer depth, structure, and remarkable ageing potential. Each bottle is a testament to precision, patience, and the expressive power of our estate. The Grand Vin Blanc is de-classified to an IGP wine due to the inclusion of Chardonnay into the wine.

WINEMAKING
Selected parcels of old vines are hand-harvested, with grapes meticulously sorted in the vineyard and cellar. Fermentation takes place at low temperatures in barrels, with gentle stirring on fine lees to enhance depth and texture. The wine is aged for 8–10 months in a mix of new and one-wine oak barrels, then blended and bottled in a single batch before resting 6 months in bottle.

TASTING NOTES
Golden and honeyed in colour, the wine opens with a rich, complex bouquet of fresh citrus, white fruits, and subtle toasty notes. On the palate, it is full-bodied yet fresh, with remarkable balance and persistence. The oak ageing lends volume and roundness, while a delicate salinity carries through to the long finish.

GRAPE VARETIES
